Ms. Smith earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University in 2004 and is presently attending Suffolk University Law School, where she is a 2008 J.D. candidate.

Ms. Smith has participated in research for the National Science Foundation in the field of communication systems.

Since joining Mills & Onello LLP, Ms. Smith has been involved in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications, with areas of technical concentration in semiconductor devices and device fabrication processes, digital and analog circuits and systems, communication systems, copy protection, computer hardware including microprocessor hardware, optical media, medical devices, and mechanical devices and systems.
