Mr. Kitchura is registered to practice
before the United States Patent and Trademark
Office as a registered Patent Agent. He earned
a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2006 from
the Rochester Institute of Technology and is presently
attending Suffolk University Law School, where
he is a 2011 J.D. candidate.
As a law student, Mr. Kitchura has studied various
topics in Intellectual Property Law, including
Patent Law and Licensing of Intellectual Property.
In addition to his legal studies, Mr. Kitchura
earned an Honorable Mention for his Legal Brief
in the First Year Legal Practice Program at Suffolk
University Law School.
While a student at the Rochester Institute of
Technology, Mr. Kitchura designed physical implementations
of various CMOS logic circuits, which were fabricated
by the Metal Oxide Semiconductor Implementation
Service (MOSIS) at the University of Southern
California. In addition, Mr. Kitchura was a member
of a Multidisciplinary Senior Design Team, which
designed and built electronic testing equipment
for BorgWarner Inc.
Prior to joining Mills & Onello LLP, Mr. Kitchura
worked as an electrical engineer in the Research
and Development division at Bose Corporation,
an international consumer electronics corporation.
While at Bose, he conducted research on resonant
amplification circuits and non-contact methods
of temperature sensing using variable permeability
materials. As an electrical engineer, Mr. Kitchura
also designed, built, and tested high-power amplifiers,
embedded processing systems, software control
algorithms, and haptic devices. As a result of
his work, Mr. Kitchura is a named inventor to
a United States Patent Application.
Since joining Mills & Onello LLP, Mr. Kitchura
has been involved in the preparation and prosecution
of U.S. and foreign patent applications. Mr. Kitchura
has experience in drafting U.S. and foreign patent
applications, preparing responses to office actions,
and preparing pre-appeal and appeal briefs. In
addition, Mr. Kitchura assists clients in developing
and implementing patent prosecution strategies
to protect core technologies. His areas of technical
concentration include semiconductor devices, semiconductor
fabrication, digital and analog circuits, embedded
hardware and software, analog power amplification,
internet technologies, social media networking,
graphical user interfaces, haptic devices and
technology, medical devices and mechanical devices
and systems.
Mr. Kitchura is also a member of the American
Bar Association (ABA), the American Intellectual
Property Law Association (AIPLA), the Boston Patent
Law Association (BPLA) and the Institute of Electrical
and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
